Punakaiki
On the way
down the West Coast clients shouldn't forget to
visit Punakaiki or Pancake Rocks and
the famous blowholes. Situated in Paparoa National Park halfway
between Westport and Greymouth this
world famous attraction is best visited in the three hours around
high tide to view the blowholes at their spectacular best. Check
with local information centres before starting journeys to coincide
visits with high tide and use any spare time to stop off at the
Buller Gorge Swingbridge Adventure and Heritage park.
