FOREST GOLD WALK - 30 minutes return

An easy grade forest walk that passes through areas of hand stacked stone, remnants of an early alluvial gold mining area, and finishes at a giant Kahikatea tree. The walls of stacked taiing stones seen on this walk are among the West Coast's finest examples.
